Windows Vista Performance and Tuning Guide – Released
A few days back Microsoft released, a 14 paged PDF and XPS file, named “Windows Vista Performance Tuning Guide” which can be easily downloaded from Microsoft.
The main focus of this Guide ebook is on common tweaks and performance improvements for single computer, as well as on tools used in enterprise environments.
For example, it includes tips like disabling unneeded startup items, disabling unwanted services, disabling visual effects or to adjust search settings.
It mainly focuses on newbie users. Experienced users won’t find this any useful, since most of the “tweaks” featured here are often part of routine set-up and maintenance.
