Facebook Is Not Only The World’s Largest Social Network, It Is Also The Fastest Growing
According to TechCrunch, Facebook is not only the largest social network, but also one of the rapidly growing social networks around the world as compared with orkut and MySpace. In the month of June it got upto 132 million unique visitors. According to an estimate bu comScore, Facebook is growing 153% on annual basis, compared with a 3% growth rate of MySpace.
Look at the stats and feel the difference:
Growth rate in North America for example is also growing at a satisfying 38% rate, while Europe growing 10 times as fast.Much of these huge growth numbers come from the fact that Facebook had hardly no presence in many of these regions until recently when it started its major push to translate the site to other languages.
Still there are many countries and countless users who haven’t singed-up for Facebook. Therefore, it is expected that Facebook will grow and will have more traffic and unique visitors in the up coming years.
