Xun Chi 138 – The Worlds Smallest Cell phone

Daily we see different handsets with stylish looks and innovative features. As the technology becomes more and more advanced and sophisticated, smart phones and cell phones are getting smaller and smaller.

The latest or should I say the smallest handset released is the Xun Chi 138, also being the Worlds Smallest Handset that can easily slide into your fifth pocket! This innovation is technology is not larger than a pair of AA batteries, having a size of 2.64 inch (67mm) and weighs less than 55 grams (2 ounces).

More features in Xun Chi 138:

  • VGA camera with video recording
  • MP3 player
  • video player
  • photo editor
  • 128MB of storage,
  • Audio playback software
  • w/EQ settings
  • 260,000-color touchscreen
  • Multimedia messaging
  • WAP browser
  • GPRS
  • English and Chinese handwriting recognition

You have seen the good part, now here’s a bad part. Due to its small size it lacks a keypad or a Blue tooth, plus it only offers dual band GPRS connectivity, and not EDGE neither 3G. The price tag and its release date is also unknown.

No I don’t think you can make such a small cell phone, because then you will have to sacrifice some or most of its features. That probably won’t be a good thing to do.

But lets hope, that miniature phones can one day be a reality.
