Microsoft Launches its Online Store
As of yesterday, Microsoft launches its first online store particularly for the UK, Usa, Germany and Korea, but have plans to further broden its sphere to other countries very soon.
This Online store compirses of all the microsoft products available, including, Windows, Office, Microsoft Zune, Xbox 360 Consoles, Windows Live Care, web-cams and microsoft hardware such as mouse and keyboards etc and several other products will be made available.
In a blog posting, Trevin Chow, a senior program manager, said:
“With this launch, our customers in the US are able to buy first-party software and hardware directly from Microsoft offered in a comprehensive online catalogue.
People will be able to re-download software products that they buy for as long as Microsoft supports the product, typically five years. Customers can also copy the software onto disks for future access.
Microsoft will store product keys for buyers, who will be able to access the keys online if they need to re-install the software.
