RadioBeta | Listen to Radio Stations from Around the World

There are only a handful of web sites that aggregate radio streams from around the globe. I’ve known people who could waste hours listening to radio broadcasts  just to see what life in other places is like.

But I’ve come across a web service, called; Radio Beta that aggregates and streams radio stations all over the globe and it among a few I’ve found that lets you surf by geographic location.

Want to listen to a particular song that you heard somewhere, a long time ago but can’t recall its words? For instance, you heard that song in London. Just click the “Radios from England” link and browse until you find it.

The Radio Beta is also categorized according to ‘genre’ that lets you listen to rock, pop, 60s, 70s, or 80s music. You can enjoy music even when you are surfing the site, since it comes with a built in audio player, that works best with Firefox and IE at the moment.
