Recover Stored Passwords in Google Chrome with ChromePass | How To
Since the day Google rolled out their open-source web browser, Google Chrome, it’s becoming more and more popular among the community and if this pace keeps on, then surely one day it will become the killer browser like Firefox.
At the moment it lacks some plug-ins and other functions. In one of our previous posts on how to reset your master password in Firefox, we talked that we could reset our password in case if we have forgotten the real user name and password. Although we couldn’t find any thing to reset passwords in Chrome, except for the ChromePass that enables you to recover lost passwords with ease.

It’s a standalone application created by Nirsoft. Not only this it also provides details of URL and Website associated with that username and password. As we already mentioned it needs no installation as it is standalone.
ChromePass displays the following fields for each entry. You can easily export the entire list of passwords through ChromePass.
- Origin URL
- Action URL
- User Name Field
- Password Field
- User Name
- Password
- Created Time.
Give it a try and let us know if it helped you or not.
