Discover New Greasemonkey Scripts Automatically with GreaseFire

If you are using Grease monkey for some time now and would want to check out the latest releases you would most probably jump to Userscript.org, that contains by far the most Grease monkey scripts ever compiled over the web.

At times it becomes a headache for you to go over to Userscript website and check any latest additions made to the scripts. But you can always install add-on that will do the job for you. Wouldn’t you?

Mozilla brings another Firefox extension called Greasefire that takes the responsibility off from your shoulders. It nicely merges itself with the Grease monkey extension and becomes active on every website for which Grease monkey scripts are available.

This extension keeps a list of newly added and updated Grease monkey scripts that are showed to the user when ever he takes a look at them. Not only that all available Grease monkey scripts for a specific website will be displayed in a new window that opens when the user right-clicks on the icon in the FireFox status bar and selects the line telling him how many Grease monkey scripts are available for it.

The manager can also be programmed to discover the function of various scripts. You can install them or even take a look at the Source Code in order to make sure they are not malicious.

Its worth a try for those who want to keep themselves updated.
