Top 15 Greasemonkey Scripts for Digg Users

Do you spend too much time on Digg and still not getting the results? Sick and tired of using all sorts of fancy tools but not getting success? Have you tried GreaseMonkey scripts? No?! In case you haven’t tried these scripts; we bring you a list of Top 15 GreaseMonkey scripts that will make your life a little easier on Digg. Give them a shot and let us know!

1. Digg Rating Extender

Shows both the up and down diggs as well as the total rating. Updated for the new comment system to show all the data instead of just the rating or just the up/down.

2. Digg Autohide

This script automatically hides (instead of buries) Digg submissions based on user name or keyword. Add users to ‘var users_blacklist’ and keywords to ‘var keywords_blacklist’ at the beginning of this.

3. Digg Search Replaced by a Google CSE

Search digg.com using a cool custom Google search engine with hierarchical categories. The textbox will turn yellow to indicate that the google search is active. Double click the textbox to alternate between the default digg search and the advanced google search. Thanks to tagor for the basis of this script.

4. Digg Me Later

Read the article first and easily Digg it later, even if you close the page on Digg.

5. Digg Top In All Topics

Links Top In All Topics links directly to the article, rather than the digg page. The digg page link is also available underneath if you click on the comments link.

6. Digg Filter

On digg.com, adds a form field next to the Digg logo. Enter a comma-separated list of keywords to blacklist. Any story that matches will be filtered out.

7. Digg Add Mirrors

Adds links to DuggMirror, Coral Cache, DuggBack and Archive.org wayback machine to every story. What separates this from the rest is that it’s better integrated with digg: it’s displayed beneath every digg-button.

8. Digg Top 10 Direct

Replaces the Top 10 sidebar links to the Digg comment page with links directly to the articles.

9. Try This Search On

Provides useful links to search engines based on the page that you’re viewing or the search that you’re performing.

10. Digg Comment Enhancer

The Digg comment enhancer allows you to easily add cliches, mirrors, and images to your digg comments and it displays image links and youtube videos directly in the digg comments, so you don’t have to click to view the picture.

11. Automatically Swear To Original On Digg

Automatically clicks the ‘Totally original, I swear’ button.

12. Digg.licio.us

Adds links to save a Digg story to Delicious.

13. Search Most Dugg Stories

Sorts searches on Digg by most “dugg” stories by default.

14. Google Bump

Adds functionality to the Google web search. Main features include Quick Search Shortcuts (including Multi-search), Image & Video results with a Player, Wikipedia definitions and links, and some clutter cleanup by. All options can be turned off.

15. Digg Button Animation Enabler

Enables the animation when pressing the digg button on an article that includes one, so you can digg it and keep reading without requiring you to visit Digg.com.     well many of these will result in a banning your account… I wont use any of it, i love my digg account. silly ones.

    You should have included a disclaimer at the end of the post. I’m using digg from years and have seen people joining and there profile getting deleted. Even my profile got deleted twice.
    So from my experience I will never suggest anyone to use any Gm scripts for Digg not even pagination. :neutral:
