Customize Windows Vista Installation with vLite
If you are about to install Windows Vista on your machine and fear that Vista will run slower just because you do not have enough RAM for it to run. When installing Windows Vista there are lot of features that you don’t even use or require, so why installing them if you are never going to use it?
vLite is a very nifty application that helps you create a Vista installation DVD, where you can place only those utilities or components that you require.

Run vLite and remove programs that you want to discard, you may wish to integrate Vista SP1. Once you have added or discarded components, make a new DVD which will have all the changes that you have made. Burn the DVD and use it to install Vista. Not only this will save you a lot of your valuable time but it will also increase the performance of your system not to mention the time it saved by getting rid of all the prompts that you get while installation.
In addition to that you can also use it to install Windows Vista without having to respond to any prompts that may appear while installation. And its not illegal to create a DVD like this as long as you keep it to yourself only.
