I will assume that you have downloaded and installed the application from the link provided below. When you will click on the icon for the first time, it will prompt you to enter and set a new password that will be used each time you want to access the program.

One more thing that I would like to add here is that any one accessing your computer can easily recognize the file/folder that you have encrypted as the folder name will end with a period i.e ‘.’ but there is no way they can have access to the original content, unless they have the right password.

Another thing that should be kept in mind while using this software is to close the application or else other unauthorized person will have chance to access it without the need to enter password, since the password is only required whenever it is launched.
