Personally I don’t use any file search engines because Google has solution to all my queries. If you are a frequent user of Rapidshare and face difficulty working around or finding files, you may take a look at some of the tools already mentioned , here, here and here. Today, we will share with you yet another excellent Rapidshare tool that will move you one step closer to Rapidshare. RSFind is a very useful Firefox add-on that grabs links from sites like Rapidshare and/or Magaupload.

RSFind will help you to scan a web page for links, which you can then manage to copy/paste or open that link. Reference the screen-shot, shown below:

Lately, we have covered four posts on Rapidshare download managers, which included Rapidshare Plus, Raptor, JDownloader and RapGet. Today we will be sharing with you yet another Rapidshare Download manager but this one is officially released by Rapidshare.com for its premium account based users only.

JDownloader – Rapidshare Download Manager

Remember the last time we covered a download manager named Raptor that helps you in downloading large Rapidshare files without any interruption. However we have found some more download managers that we will keep on sharing with you from time to time.

Today, we will share with you another popular Rapidshare download manager, similar to Raptor which is basically an open source, platform independent and written completely in Java. The name of this download manager is JDownloader.

JDownloader offers the following features:

Download in multiple parallel streams,
CAPTCHA recognition,
Free of charge,
Link encryption sites are supported,
Import CCF, RSDF and the new DLC files,
Automatic file extraction and much more.

The bad part about JDownloader is that it comes with German language by default. Although you can change this language to English, nonetheless you will find some German words scattered around. In case you want to change this to English language, this is what you will do:

Click the Extra button,
Select Konfiguration,
Select the Benutzeroberfläche tab,
Under Sprache, select English,
Hit the Speichern und neu starten button to save and restart in English.

Another thing that you should probably note is that before you can download any files you will have to accept the terms of service for each site you want to download files from. To do this, follow the procedure mentioned below:

Click the Extra button,
Select Configuration,
Select the Hosts tab,
Check the boxes next to any file hosting service you expect to use.

Now you are good to go. Simply click the Add Links button and add links to any files you want to download, then click the Start button to begin downloading.

Note: JDownloader needs Java to run, so you should check the version that you’re running here.

Rapidshare is one of the best platforms for sharing and downloading files, uploaded by millions of users worldwide; it is considered to be one of the largest and widely used online sharing platform. Access Rapidshare at Banned Places

You are at your home or office and desperately want to access Rapidshare, but find your self restricted to the access. Then you should probably download Rapidshare @ Office.

I know by this time you will be thinking that its just another web proxy to access banned sites, but you are wrong! It is not a proxy site but a Firefox extension, similar to the one used to access flickr in banned countries.

What this add-on does is that it just looks the IP of the download page and uses this information to download the required file. Once the add-on is installed and added to your firefox browser toolbar, simply copy and paste the URL of Rapidshare link and paste it onto the toolbar, then click the ‘Next‘ button on the toolbar that will change the URL so that the IP is used for accessing the download page.

A Javascript window will pop out once the IP has been converted and will display a dialogue box -see screenshot.

NOTE: It will work where the admin has ONLY banned Rapidshare.com, otherwise it won’t work. Another draw back is that you will have to log in to Mozilla’s website in order to avail the facility, the reason is that the Firefox add-on is in experimental stages.
