Increase Feed Readers with ‘What Would Seth Godin Do WordPress Plugin’
Every blogger dreams of having a high feed count, but not everyone is successful in luring their visitors to become a part of their blog.
People use all sorts of methods to attract their visitors to subscribe to their blog’s feed. Some give free e-books and a few hold contests to force their readers to subscribe.
One of the better methods that I personally have found is to request your reader, rather than to force him/her. Since its his/her choice whether he or she wants to become a part of your blog or not.
Here is one very nice and useful Seth Godin do plug-in that could help increase your blogs’ subscribers. Seth Godin do plug-in displays a message for first time to only new visitors requesting them to subscribe to your blog’s feed.
Installing this plug-in is also very simple. First of all Download the plug-in from here, then upload the what_would_seth_godin_do.php file to your plug-ins folder and activate it from your dashboard.
When you are done, you can change the settings according to your needs. By default, it will display a small box above each post containing the words ‘If you’re new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!”. It even gives you the option to change the message, its location on your post and its life span.
