Find Out Which USB Device Was Connected To Your Computer with USBDeview
If you are really concerned about the security of your computer files and want to know whether someone has intentionally breached your computer files or not, then you should take help from this very useful program named USBDeview. USBDeview is a handy and easy to use utility that monitors your USB Device ports and checks whether any USB is connected to your computer or not. Not only that, it also monitors any activity that had taken place while you were away. Next time you log-in to your computer, all your previous USB activity will be displayed with all the necessary details; such as ‘Device Name‘, ‘Descriptions‘, ‘Device Type‘, the time at which that device was connected and plugged out, etc etc. You can even disconnect USB devices that are currently connected to your computer.
Working with this program is also very simple. Simply run the executable file (its installation free), and you will be shown all necessary simple-to-understand information in the window – see screen shot.

One draw back that I personally feel is that it does not show/monitors data activity that might have taken place while you were away. I hope that the developer of this program will add this feature in the next update.
With this application working side by side with your system, stealing contents from your computer will not go unnoticed. Can you think of any other benefit for this application?
