How to Convert PDF File to JPG, TIFF, GIF Image Formats Easily

Not too long ago, we taught you all how to convert PDF files into Word formats with no hassle at all. Today, though, we will try to teach you all how to convert a PDF file into a JPG, TIFF, GIF image formats. There are two ways to go about it. The first one is you use an internet tool and the other is you use a freeware software to help with the conversion. We will provide you with both procedures and you can choose any one.

Web-based Tool

The web-based tool we spoke about allows users to convert PDF documents to different image formats and even different document formats, the option is yours. Once the conversion has been completed, you will be provided a link through your email from where you can download it and even share it with friends and family. Zamzar is the tool in this case. We have used this software many times before too. It’s powerful and does a great job to get the job done.

The steps are easy. There are four steps which you have to complete. Firstly, browse for the PDF file you want to convert. Then, choose and specify the format into which you want to make the conversion. Third step is to enter the email address to which you want the converted file to be sent to. The very last step is to Convert the file. It will take some time, but once it is done, you will be given a URL where you must to go to download the converted file.

How to Convert PDF File to JPG, TIFF, GIF Images using Freeware Software

The software to be used is OmniFormat V 8.3 but in order to use it, you must download PDF995 first. Both can be found on this page.

Open OmniFormat from the start and this will bring up the main window.

Add a folder in which all of your PDF files have been stored. You can either put one file in it or you can add an entire folder by pressing Add Folder. Select the image format you want to convert to.

After putting all of your files in the desired location, just click on Start Monitoring and the software will make all the searches. Then, place the converted images into the same folder.

    There is another web-based tool Saaspose.PDF that can convert PDF documents to images and its a cloud API so there is no need to download or install it.
